Camp Yampire: 12 Days of Holiday Joy!

Camp Yampire, the free virtual summer camp for adults that was created in response to the pandemic, returns this December to make your moments indoors a little more merry with some festive and friendly fun! Join the indoor whimsy revolution at the 12 Days of Holiday Joy, streaming live from NYC to zoom accounts across the world this December 12th-24th!

Open to all ages but centered towards adults and the nostalgia of that holiday excitement you had as a kid, there are twelve free, fun, inclusive, and respectful days of holiday happiness to join - Christmas, Hanukkah, and Solstice will all be explored with admiration and respect, and campers are encouraged to bring their stories, songs, and traditions to share with others around our virtual campfire. Your camp counselors Yam & Pie, as well as a few surprise Guest Camp Counselors from previous sessions this year, are on zoom every day to bring you a smile and fill your heart with holiday cheer!

Activities at Camp Yampire: 12 Days of Holiday Joy range from arts and crafts, painting, live holiday music, trivia nights, and cookie decorating, to solstice meditation, latke frying, campfire storytelling, video games, happy hours, scavenger hunts, and more! Our main events for Camp Yampire: 12 Days of Holiday Joy include Nutcracker Night, The Sharing Circle with Kristy Pace, a live theatrical reading of, "A Christmas Carol," Holiday Highlight: Hanukkah, People's Playback Theatre: Holiday Stories, Gingerbread House-Decorating Competition, Winter Solstice: Candlelight Tales, Winter Wonderland Jeopardy, Virtual Light Displays from Around the World, Ugly Sweater Karaoke Party, Holiday Movie Night, and a Christmas Eve Virtual Gift Exchange.
